How Add Travel Blocks works

4 steps, in order, on every run.

  1. Check Today's AppointmentsRead upcoming appointments and existing travel blocks on your chosen calendar. Skip appointments without locations or those that started before the run.
  2. Find Missing Travel BlocksMatch existing travel blocks to appointments. Start from a preceding located appointment when it ended within two hours. Otherwise, start from your home location.
  3. Estimate Travel and Add a BufferEstimate travel using the settings you choose, then add your arrival buffer. Use your fallback time when an appointment lacks coordinates.
  4. Add Busy Travel BlocksCreate busy blocks before appointments that lack them. Mark approximate estimates and timing conflicts for your review.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about the Add Travel Blocks:

How does the Agent estimate travel time?

You choose a travel mode, speed, route multiplier, and arrival buffer. You also set minimum and fallback times. Estimates do not use live traffic.

Where does travel start?

You provide your home location. Travel starts from a preceding located appointment if it ended within two hours. Otherwise, it starts from home.

What if the previous appointment has no coordinates?

Your home location becomes the assumed starting point. The travel block marks that assumption so you can review the estimate.

What happens when travel overlaps another appointment?

Your calendar gets a travel block marked for review. You decide how to resolve the conflict; the Agent leaves both appointments in place.

What happens when the Agent is unsure?

It stops and asks you. The Agent does not guess when it reaches a decision you have not approved.

Can I review its work?

Yes. Every run creates a plain-language log that you can review and export. Logs are kept for twelve months.

What happens if I cancel?

The Agent stops at the end of the billing month and its tool connections are removed. Your run logs remain available for twelve months.
